| Symposium: Cultures and Religions in Dialogue |
This symposium picks up on the EU Theme of the Year and will discuss the contribution of Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI to the dialogue between cultures and religions. The opening lecture will be given by Dr Erich Heck, a man of the first generation from the circle of former post-graduate and post-doctoral students centred around Joseph Ratzinger. The ideas of the lecture will be deepened in groups and summarised in a concluding panel discussion guided by Dr Martin Posselt (Bayerischen Rundfunk, Bavarian Broadcasting Company). The symposium will end after supper at 7pm.
